Since its inception M & M Nursery has grown large hedging elements (plants) for the 'Instant Hedging' market. In recent years we have concentrated more and more on this area of production with an aim to becoming Irelands leading 'Mature Hedging' field nursery. See 'Mature Hedging' section under the nursery for more details.
We have strict production schedules to ensure hedging elements are produced to the highest quality possible. These procedure protocols cover young plant production, planting out, fertilisation, irrigation, pest control, pruning, under cutting and harvesting. By following these procedures to a very high standard it ensures plants are fit for purpose, do exactly what it says on the tin and hit the ground running when planted out on site.

We have varying degrees of maturity available in most varieties. Something hopefully to match all requirements and budgets. We offer a supply and plant service. Where possible we call out and inspect sites for variety suitability when offering a supply and plant quote.
The success of any hedge into the future depends on matching hedge varieties to the site conditions and carry out the necessary site preparation in advance. We pride ourselves on going over and beyond to get this right. Thats why our hedges thrive post planting.
