
Habit: Conical tree, later becoming broad and columnar. Whorled branches when young, silvery grey bark
Height: 25-45m (80-150ft) Width: 6-9m (20-28ft)
Leaf Descrption: Grey green to bright blue-grey leaves, 1-3.5cm long with narrow grey bands underneath. They lie flat along the upper surface of the shoots and are ranked slightly downward-curving below, Cylindrical green and brown cones are borne on the uppermost branches when the tree is 6m or taller.

Site Suitability: Grow in fertile, moist but well drained neutral to slightly acid soil in full sun with some shelter from cold winds. Most are shade tolerant when young
